Posts On Parade - Erica's Lucky Dips

The challenge this week was to create a White Space layout, this was also an Exclusive Bonus Challenge and those layouts that used the nominated kit (Windermere) will receive a special exclusive bonus, never to be in the store. Scroll down to see this special Quick Click freebie.

webfrau (Julia) always has a great story to tell and this one is no exception, she also has a wealth of old photos which is a precious commodity to any scrap booker.  I love this photo and story, it shows Julia's true nature for getting into trouble (just kidding Julia) LOL.

I love this photo of Branden, Paula's (A.K.A. paulaoneil) great nephew, he has such a mischievous look and he sure liked that cake. This is a great example of a white space layout and so different, love the washing line effect and Paula always thinks outside the square with her layouts.

Jennifer  A.K.A. cj672005 has some lovely photos of her adorable little girls, don't you just love this layout, the WA and the heart tucked under the frame. A beautiful white space LO.

Sandygb has a wonderful style as this layout shows, I love this photo and the journaling is so lovely.

The nominated kit this week was Badge Of Honor here are some of the wonderful layouts created using this kit.

Two great warriors from sandygb's family, both serving in WWII. I love the stars and stripes squares and the multiple poppies next to the sepia toned photo.

Here is a wonderful photo of Betsyfru's Father. This layout has such poignant journaling, please take a look.

This layout by MusicTeach is a great tribute to her Uncle Roger who was stationed in Alaska

Chellie used this kit to document the election and ultimate success of Barack Obama with her Anything Is Possible layout. What a momentous occasion that was and this layout is a fabulous reminder for future generations.

Sometimes we forget to say THANK YOU...

...but it's not intentional, for me the referral area of DSP is not somewhere I check often and I feel bad that I don't because I have just read all the glowing comments about my designs that you have left me.  It's hard to find the right place to say this BIG THANK YOU so I'm posting it here in the hopes that those wonderful members that have taken the time to leave comments in the referral section of DSP, will see it here and know that I am humbled by your generous remarks, I'm not really surprised though because the members at DSP are renown for their generosity throughout the forums and gallery's.  Hugs to you all.  Thank you, thank you, thank you, your encouraging words truly mean so much to me.

Badge Of Honor Layout

Armistice Day or Veterans Day as it is in the US is a time to celebrate all our brave heroes past and present. For this LO honoring my own Mom and Dad I used the Badge of Honor Kit and the coordinating back pack (Posting Bonus)for my current EEE Challenge.
Journaling reads:
Arthur and Jean Belton - my parents, joined the RAF (Royal Air Force) at the outbreak of WWII. They both served their country bravely, Dad in Lancaster bombers and Mom as a Sergeant in Charge of Barrage Balloons. I'm very proud to know my parents took part in the fight against tyranny for me and everyone else in the free world.

Posts On Parade

Post On Parade this week features the Dirty Vanilla Kit and can be found in Erica's Everyday Events gallery.

This layout by paulaoneil shows excellent use of multiple elements repeating in a layout. The use of the WA blended with the two backgrounds and the single photo placement is very eye catching.

Here we have Bocca's layout, she's added a touch of colour to this predominantly monochromatic kit and what a great lift it adds. Such a darling photo too that highlights the added colour and she has also creatively combined other designer elements.

I love the photo of RobbieR's DGD in this layout and the way it pokes out the side of the frame and a great play on words for the title.

sammdc's adorable little great nephew really make this layout stand out in the gallery, who can resist seeing a tiny baby playing and pulling faces. Carolyn has used the twill tags well to point to that lovely WA border.

The next set of layouts are from Erica's Lucky Dips gallery.

cj672005 (Jennifer) created this lovely layout using the specified items of 2 frames, 2 papers and 4 pink flowers for week 1 challenge. Such an adorable wee baby photo she is definitely 'pretty in pink'.

Here's another of Leslie's cheeky cat layouts, happy birthday Trixie.

How cute webfrau (Julia) looks in this photo, a lovely group of family photos and perfectly scrapped.

Thank you for allowing me to display your beautiful creations on this blog.
